On June 22, 2016 takes place in Berlin a conference on "Oil Price Risks and Climate Security: Challenges for the Energy Policy in Latin America" in the Academy of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Experts from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Mexico and Venezuela were invited to discuss the winners and losers of low oil prices in Latin America.
One focus of the meeting will be climate risk - ‘Water shortage’ and the future of energy supply. Another point of discussion is the impact of the Paris Agreement on renewable energies, regulation and regional climate alliances in Latin America.
