From July 03 to 14, 2017, Belo Horizonte, Brazil will host the XIII Winter Course on International Law, a pioneering initiative of the International Law Center (CEDIN).

The Regional Programme Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (EKLA-KAS) supports the organization of this thirteenth edition of the course, specifically the realization of a course on Contemporary Challenges for the International Protection of Refugees: Institutional and Procedural Issues in the Interface between Human Rights and Environmental Law, which will take place between July 10-14 with the participation of Professor Cecilia Marcela Bailliet, University of Oslo (Norway).

Following the success of its previous editions, the course will aim to stimulate and qualify reflection and debate on various issues of international law and will be attended by renowned professors from the world’s leading universities.
