In order to discuss the challenges facing the development of non-conventional renewable energy (NCRE) in Chile and the lessons we can learn from Germany, Espacio Público and Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) organize the forum "Perspectives for NCREs: What can we learn from Germany?".
Opening the event, Dr. Christian Hübner, director of the Regional Programme Energy Security and Climate Change, will make a presentation on the development and future of NCRE in Germany.
Then, in order to discuss the situation in Chile, there will be a discussion panel, in which Dr. Hübner will participate together with Jimena Jara, under secretary of Energy, and Carlos Silva, researcher at the Faculty of Engineering and Science of the University Adolfo Ibáñez. José De Gregorio, director of Espacio Público and former energy minister will moderate the debate.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 16, from 18:30 to 20:30, at the offices of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, in Enrique Nercasseaux 2381, Providencia.
