Details
The visit of Dr. Rößler will revolve around the topic of “Trends in Terrorism and Implications for Global Security”. The main focus will be on the dialogue with Indian Security Experts and Scientists as well as on the debate of possible areas of cooperation in terms of security politics between Germany and India. Especially with regard to the fragile security environment in South Asia, India plays a key role in securing stability in the region, which is also of great interest to Germany. Dr. Rößler will furthermore give a lecture in front of high ranking Experts from India on the shifting global security environment as well as its implications for Germany. Also the contribution of Germany to the international fight against terrorism will be part of the debate. The multi-day conference is organized by the KAS India Office in close collaboration with the long term partner of KAS, the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS).
Beside the academic exchange, Dr. Rößler will also engage with several high profile Indian politicians as well as representatives of private companies and the civil sector.
