Details
This forum aims to (1) Map the significance of inclusive governance and meaningful citizen participation in efforts to strengthen democratic resilience; (2) Analyze the role of decentralization policies in transparency and combating corruption in strengthening democratic resilience; (3) Identifying technological innovations for participatory governance and overcoming barriers to digital participation as an effort to strengthen democratic resilience; (4) Map the barriers to participation of marginalized groups in the policy process.
The national seminar will be held in a hybrid format with a national panel format starting with a national speech. This format is intended to discuss and raise awareness about the principles of democracy, human rights, and current democratic issues, especially concerns about the decline in democratic resilience. The seminar will begin with sharing lessons from various civil society partners as a form of various experiences and best practices from programs run as democratization efforts. Then followed by a panel session as a response and strengthening collaboration on democratization efforts in the international arena.
