KAS For Legal Youth (KASFLY) 2023

Call for Applications:

To support ambitious youth in the legal sector of Cambodia, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Cambodia set up the KAS-For Legal Youth (KAS-FLY) program. Since 2017, the program has connected numbers of high-potential law students and young professionals with legal experts and supported the development of their professional and personal skills crucial for their in the legal sector.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

• Being Cambodian
• Being an undergraduate, fresh graduate or master's student in Law 

• Age ranging from 18 to 25-year-old

Benefit: 

• Become a part of KAS's rich and diverse network in the legal sector and beyond 
• Have the opportunity to join workshop, seminar, and discussion on legal topics and KAS’s annual Law Talk conference by renowned experts in the field
• Have the opportunity to join a study visit to a prestigious legal/political institution in Cambodia       
• Have the opportunity to work on legal publication under your interest and publish it under KAS Channel
• Have the opportunity to study about mock-trial skill and have a mock competition

Preparing your KAS-FLY application 

Interested applicants are invited to submit the following documents: 

1. Resume (No More Than 2 Pages) 
2. Your most recent transcript
3. Motivation Letter that answers the following questions: (minimum 300 words, maximum 600 words) 
   • Your role in strengthening the legal system
   • How can KASFLY contribute to your personal growth
   • What do you expect from the program
4. Critical Thinking Question: please identify and briefly discuss a legal problem (preferably in Cambodia) and then provide at least one solution to the problem (minimum 300 words, maximum 600 words) 

***Important:  Applications that exceed the page and word limit and incomplete applications will not be considered. Your application must be named and sent in the following manner: 

• Subject: Application KASFLY 2023
• Name of your attached documents: "Your Name_KASFLY 2023 Application"
• All documents shall be combined in 1 PDF.
