Details

The promotion of the Rules of Procedure of the Working Group 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental Rights will be held at the 32nd Meeting of the Subcommittee of the European Integration Committee.

These rules of procedure regulate the manner of operation of the working group responsible for chapter 23 – Judiciary and Fundamental Rights, the composition, scope of operation and competences of the working group, rights and responsibilities of the president and working group members, stakeholder participation as well as other issues relevant for the functioning of the Working group. Furthermore, the rules of procedure would enable the working group members to better coordinate in the process of approximation of EU legislation, to initiate a process of developing additional mechanism and platforms for inter-institutional communication based on written rules and procedures and finally sets a model for the other negotiating bodies.
