Sustainable Water Management: Improving Water Policy and Governance in Emerging Asia

Policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, energy experts, and environmentalists from South and Southeast Asia shared their knowledge and experiences on water management in their respective countries. The role of water has been well recognized in contributing to all aspects of development in every jurisdiction. However, more efforts and coordination between various stakeholders at all levels have to be strengthened to overcome significant political, economic, social and cultural obstacles in addressing the current water security issues.
