The Middle East and North Africa are in a deep crisis. The escalation of the Middle East conflict between Israelis and Palestinians since the terrorist attack by Hamas and other Palestinian groups on October 7, 2023 has acted as a catalyst for smouldering conflicts and at the same time inhibited regional rapprochement processes. in view of this complex situation, the US presidential elections and the resulting, possibly new US Middle East policy are a key event for the future of the region. In this respect, there was great interest in the outcome of the elections in most countries in the region. This publication provides an overview of the expectations of the individual countries in the region regarding the Middle East policy of the Trump II administration.

The full-lenght publication is only available in German.
