The Rule of Law Programme Asia of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in collaboration with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) New Delhi conducted a two-day workshop dedicated to the thematic framework of a pan-Asian Environmental Legislative response to Global Climate Change.
International Experts from South and South-east Asia, Germany and various enviro-legal experts from India came together in New Delhi from the 18- 20th of October, 2013 to discuss and debate the impacts of Climate Change on agriculture, Community awareness and responses to Climate Change and the legal and policy landscapes of the different countries in Asia.
The workshop concluded with a comprehensive overview on the individual national and international mitigation and adaptation strategies within Asia, in regard to the future of the Rio+20 framework.
