While the first conference on administrative law held in Nanjing/China in last autumn circled around the principles of administrative law in the various Southeast Asian legal systems and covered rather the theoretical legal foundations, this year's conference focusses on the challenges in everyday legal practice such as the adherence to the principles and provisions by the executive and touches issues such as the efficiency of the administrative and judicial appeal systems.
