Details
In order to take part at a information and dialogue programme, four Tanzanian budding politicians will visit Germany from the 26th June until 2nd July. The young delegation will take part in several seminaries organised by KAS Germany and visit many institutions and get to know experts from politics and media on the local, federal and national level.
Therefore, KAS Tanzania organises a workshop in Dar es Salaam on the 24th June in order to prepare the politicians as best as possible, discuss their expectations and open questions.
The academic focus of this visit to Germany lies on the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of a federal system. In order to gain a deeper insight in the processes of a decentralised system, the Tanzanian delegation will be brought closer to the political system of the Federal Republic of Germany. The young politicians will therefore visit Berlin, Hannover and Nienburg zur Weser and meet regional and national officials and politicians from the government and the Youth- and Women-organisation of the CDU.
