The first phase of the project in this year provided workshops under the focus on “Digital Communication and Regulation for Innovative Business Development”. The target groups, which are the local occupational groups and local enterprises, got instructed about how to use the online platforms efficiently to support and improve the marketing of their local products. Also in the activities, they were lectured about updated law and regulations concerned with online product selling and marketing which will assist them as a working guideline. In each province, there were eight local occupational groups and local enterprises attending the workshops.
The Project “Business for Social and Environmental Development” is one of the projects that the KAS supported the civil society organisations in Thailand to propel the actualisation of the Social Market Economy Principle in the country. With the workshops, trainings, and study visits throughout the year, the project aims to bring about the quality of life to Thai people in target local and rural areas through having sustainable income and occupation.
