"FROM RECOVERY TO RESILIENCE: YOUTH PARTICIPATION AND SOCIAL COHESION IN POST-EARTHQUAKE TÜRKİYE" SUMMIT MEETING
05-07 DECEMBER 2024 / ANKARA
We completed "From Recovery to Resilience: Youth Participation and Social Cohesion in Post-Earthquake Türkiye" project with a Summit Meeting held in Ankara between the dates 05-07 December. This project brought together young participants from Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, and Adıyaman, who have been actively involved the workshops over the past months.
As a result of the dedicated efforts and collaborative activities in these three provinces, participants prepared a comprehensive "White Paper" which includes:
- Actionable plans and recommendations for enhancing resilience and social recovery
- Effective solutions for addressing the needs during and after earthquakes
- Practical strategies for community rebuilding and support
We proudly presented this White Paper to Members of Parliament in Ankara, highlighting the crucial role of youth in shaping a resilient future.
We would like to thank Members of Parliament who have shown great interest in White Paper and also the participants and lecturers for their remarkable efforts.
