After three years of dedicated effort and operational efficiency by KAS Vietnam, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, and technical expert team from the University of Hamburg, the HOPE project culminates in the publication of the handbook “Neighborhood Planning and Design Towards Healthy Cities.”
This handbook aims to disseminate insights, enhance knowledge, and support regulatory frameworks in urban planning, management, construction, and housing design. It also emphasizes an integrated approach to human health within the urban built environment in Vietnam. We hope this handbook serves as a valuable resource for scientists, practitioners, managers, and communities, fostering innovative thinking in environmental planning and design towards a healthier, more integrated, and greener urban residential life in Vietnam.
