Background
Digitalization has been transforming all walks of life in today societies. Healthcare sector, among others, has been undergoing a tremendendous change thanks to the application of digital technologies. Digital health, or E-health, encompasses a wide range of applications, from personal health tracking to remote monitoring and diagnosis of medical conditions. It also includes the use of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze health-related data and improve healthcare delivery. Digital health has the potential to enable governments to provide more efficient and effective care, increase patient engagement, and improve well beings of the people.
Many Asian countries are setting up ambitious targets for e-health transformation. What can we learn from the development here in Asia? And what is the challenges and best practises of e-health implementation in Asia and Germany?
Through this issue of Panorama, we aim to highlight the latest development of e-health in Asia and Germany and provide food for thoughts for policymakers from Asia, Europe and beyond.

If you are interested in contributing a paper for our next issue of Panorama, please send us the topic & title and brief outline of the paper (1 paragraph) to mingyin.ho@kas.de / pda2.singapore@kas.de by 7 July 2023.
Once we accept your applcation, we expect to the first draft of the paper by 15 August 2023. We are aiming to publish the Journal by the December 2023.
