The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies from Brussels, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" – Skopje and the Academy for European Integration from Skopje, are organizing the first panel discussion in the frame of of this year's Cathedra Adenauer.
The panel discussion on the topic “Western Balkans and its EU Perspective: Security and Political Aspects” will take place on 05 March 2025 (Wednesday), starting at 11:00 h, in the Reading Room of the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" – Skopje.
Cathedra Adenauer is a scientific and educational platform where students, experts, academics and stakeholders discuss and share their views on current topics related to the European Union, the general challenges facing the European continent, and topics related to EU enlargement and the Western Balkans region.
Following speakers will give their contribution to the topic:

Ivan Damjanovski, Professor at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” – Skopje

Aleksandar Spasenovski, Professor at the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" – Skopje
The discussion will be moderated by Dragan Gocevski, Professor at the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" – Skopje.
The event will be opened by representatives of the organizers, Daniel Braun, Official representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Saso Georgievski, Dean of the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" – Skopje, Katerina Jakimovska, Senior Project Officer at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies from Brussels, and Arlind Zeqiri, President of the Academy for European Integration – Skopje.
The working languages of the event are Macedonian and English.
